Only my sister would insist on stopping at Starbucks before going to the hospital after going into labor. This shouldn't surprise me as close proximity to a Starbucks was one of her criteria for selecting a hospital to give birth in.

Anyway, I'm apparently getting a nephew at some point today.

So I'm done classes for the week and have no classes next week since it's reading week. I'm not exactly sure what the purpose of reading week is because I've never had one before but I think it has something to do with pissing around and not doing anything for a week before being thrust back into the second half of the semester.

I had long hours last week. Monday wasn't so bad, but Tuesday UPC took me and the rest of the production team (the other two office PAs, the production secretary, and the assistant production coordinator) out to dinner after work, so I didn't get home until 11pm. Finally watched The Hurt Locker and Bright Star yesterday. Loved Hurt Locker. Feel so-so about Bright Star. I'm taking an Oscar movie break after these two, with the next two movies coming from Netflix being Zombieland and Shock Corridor the latter of which is a 1960s mental hospital film.

Rolled out of bed around 10:30am, left for Starbucks at about 11am, and was there until about 2pm. Then I came home, took Harry to the park since the weather was nice, and then went back home. Today was the one Saturday a month we see patients, so I had to get up and go to work in the morning. Now, I'm currently doing the work of two people at work, since the physician's assistant is gone.
